OCEAN REEF Level 2 Service Technician Recertification Course
$ 245.00
OCEAN REEF Technician certifications have a validation of 3 years. Expiring on the 31st of December of the year of validation.
The Level 2 Service Technician Recertification Course will review modifications, new products and refresh the technician’s knowledge and understanding of the OCEAN REEF equipment.
To participate this course, you need to be having a previous certification of an OCEAN REEF Service Technician. Availability of the Level 2 OCEAN REEF Special Tools is a requirement.
The OCEAN REEF Level 2 Service Technician Recertification course will take you through the complete OCEAN REEF Service Technician training program as a refresher. Modules 1 – 2 are not a prerequisite, but a good preparation for the final recertification course knowledge test. finalising modules 3, 4, 5 and 6 with updated products and passing the final Level 2 knowledge test is a requirement.
We will introduce you to your Ocean Reef Service Technician Trainer (STT) who will be your coach during the course. The STT will be able to answer any questions that you have, or give you a more in-depth explanation when needed.
This course requires a practical evaluation under the supervision of an OCEAN REEF Service Technician Trainer (STT). This evaluation can be done on two ways:
A. During a full Online session
B. During an In-person training/evaluation day
In both situations, passing the Online course first, and passing the final Level 2 exam is a prerequisite.
In case of the full online course and evaluation, we will send you a training kit in advance to practice the disassembly, assembly, and tuning procedures. The Training Kit will contain a NEPTUNE SPACE Mask, a NEPTUNE III regulator and SL35TX First stage you will use during the course. We will also include the 2 FREE special OCEAN REEF tools of the level 1 course. You will use the training Kit during your course and practical exam.
When you passed the final knowledge test, we set an appointment for a practical exam to demonstrate your servicing skills on the OCEAN REEF IDM and SL35TX 1st stage by a VIDEO conference meeting
After the online evaluation with the STT, the training kit needs to be sent back to our office for final performance evaluation by our in-house technician. The technician will carefully check if the Neptune Space mask, Neptune III regulator and the first stage assembled and tuned correctly. After the final verification, you will get your diploma sent by e-mail. We remind you the certification has a 3-year deadline, at the end of which it will be necessary to renew by attending a recertification course.
In case of participation in an In-person training/evaluation day, there will be a training kit with NEPTUNE SPACE mask, NEPTUNE III regulator and SL35TX first stage available for you on the location. we will not send you a training kit upfront.
The in-person Training/Evaluation will take a full day, with practical workshops and final performance evaluation. Training dates and locations will be published on the OCEAN REEF Training webpage: https://diving.oceanreefgroup.com/training-idm/
There is a minimum and maximum number of participants for the in-person training/evaluation days, contact [email protected] for availability.
If the training and evaluation will be done on the same day with good result, you will receive your OCEAN REEF Level 2 certification by the end of the day.
The OCEAN REEF Special Tools are NOT included in the course fee. But needed to be ordered separately.
For any questions during the online course you can contact your OCEAN REEF Trainer, or send an email at: [email protected]
