The Bundle is a combination off our Level 1 Technician Course and the Level 2 Service Technician Course. It is the shortest way to become a full operational OCEAN REEF Service Technician. You will enroll in both courses at the same time.
The process is the same as if you would do the Level 1 and Level 2 separately, but there is no time delay in between the two courses, and you keep the same coach (STT).
You will start with the level 1 technician course, and after you passed for the Level 1 final exam, you will be able to open the Level 2 Service Technician Course.
Level 1 Technician Course covers:
Level 2 Service Technician covers:
After successful participation of the OCEAN REEF Level 1 & 2 Technician course you will be certified to do maintenance on all OCEAN REEF products. The Level 2 Service technician certification will have a validation of 3-years.
This course requires a practical evaluation under the supervision of an OCEAN REEF Service Technician Trainer (STT). This evaluation can be done on two ways:
A. During a full Online course
B. During an In-person training/evaluation day
In both situations, passing the Online course first, and passing the final Level 2 exam is a prerequisite.
In case of the full online course and evaluation, we will send you a training kit in advance to practice the disassembly, assembly, and tuning procedures. The Training Kit will contain a NEPTUNE SPACE Mask, a NEPTUNE III regulator and SL35TX First stage you will use during the course. We will also include the 2 FREE special OCEAN REEF tools of the level 1 course. You will use the training Kit during your course and practical exam.
In case on the in-person training/evaluation day we will have a training kit available for you on location, and we will not send you a training kit upfront.
The in-person Training/Evaluation will take a full day, with practical workshops and final performance evaluation. Training dates and locations will be published on the OCEAN REEF Training webpage: https://diving.oceanreefgroup.com/training-idm/
There is a minimum and maximum number of participants for the in-person training/evaluation days, contact [email protected] for availability
We will introduce you to your Ocean Reef Service Technician Trainer (STT) who will be your coach during the course. The STT will be able to answer any questions that you have, or give you a more in-depth explanation when needed.
During the course there will be a few review questions in each section to show that you have comprehended the content of the section. At the end of the course there will be a final exam and practical evaluation.
For any questions during the course you can contact your Technician Trainer, or email [email protected]
